Job Description

Property ManagerLocation: Edinburgh, ScotlandSalary: £32,000 + Excellent BenefitsFull - Time, Permanent, Monday - Friday The Client:Our client is a leading real estate agency, offering exceptional customer experiences for both domestic and international residents, focusing on safety, customer service, and property maintenance.The Role:As a Property Manager, you will manage a dedicated team, and oversee financial performance while upholding safety and legal compliance.Responsibilities:

  • Maintain full compliance with local authority requirements, including HMO licences and Council Tax.
  • Advocate for customer needs, focusing on retention and recommendation.
  • Deliver an engaging social calendar, ensuring consistent customer satisfaction.
  • Recruit, develop, and lead a high-performing team.
  • Provide consistent and effective inductions for all team members.
  • Develop a thorough understanding of customer demographics and university landscapes.
  • Set clear objectives aligned with the business plan, conducting regular performance reviews.
  • Efficiently process and manage booking administration with GDPR compliance.
  • Take accountability for the financial performance of the property, conducting monthly P&L reviews.
  • Contribute to annual budget setting and routine reforecasting.
  • Conduct routine inspection and audit processes, resolving issues swiftly.
Requirements:
  • Previously worked as a Property Manager or in a similar role.
  • Proven track record in property management.
  • Student Accommodation experience of at least 2 years. (Preferred)
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
