Pertemps are recruiting for a Project Support Officer to work with a Public Sector client on a temporary basis for 12 weeks initially. This role is currently working from home but offers office base in Edinburgh and Glasgow and there may be some futurerequirement to attend office on occasion.Role: Project Support OfficerPay: £13.35 per hourLocation: HybridResponsibilitiesAssist the Project Manager in preparation, delivery, updating and monitoring all project plans, documentation and deliverables.o The post holder is responsible for setting up, maintaining and developing a number of databases and information management system in order to develop and implement procedures to ensure efficiency of the project and programme administration. Maintenance ofother databases developed by the jobholder to improve procedures. Regularly provide updates and guidance to Project and Programme Managers as well as other internal/external stakeholders. Undertake the organisation of a large volume of meetings, workshopsand presentations.o Receive and respond to telephone calls/emails as appropriate, keeping the Project Manager informed of all relevant issues.o Provide secretariat support to Project Managers, associated staff and external stakeholders. Duties include diary co-ordination and arranging meetings together with all related duties. All work must be of a high standard, be completed within agreed timescalesand meet NHS Scotland Assure expectations.o From all systems, the post holder will generate reports for use by management and / or other appropriate individuals. A strong audit trail will be provided.o Maintain all programme/project documentation as appropriate. Liaise with internal departments to ensure all documentation is acted upon appropriately and meets NHS Scotland Assure expectations.o Undertake full and accurate minute taking as and when required for Project and Programme Managers and associated staff and boards which meets NHS Scotland Assure expectations.o Contribute to preparation of documents which requires an understanding of forward planning and budget control.Experience Required- Previous diary management experience is essential- Minute taking experience- Excellent administration skills and proficiency in secretarial duties- Ability to work well as part of a team- Previous project experience desirableThis role is for immediate start.
