Job Description

Join us as a Project Manager, Ulster Withdrawal Programme

  • Youll be part of a unique transformation programme as we engineer new and innovative technology solutions, supporting the closure of Ulster Bank in the Republic of Ireland
  • Its a fantastic chance to gain exposure to several programme workstreams and advance your career
  • This role is available either full time or as a job share opportunity which means you and another colleague will share the duties of one full time job, with each of you working part time hours on a pro rata basis
What youll doYoull manage the end to end delivery of projects within time, cost and quality objectives. Youll define project scopes, creating detailed plans, monitoring progress, managing risks and adhere to timelines and budgets. Youll lead colleagues within your teamand manage the contributions from colleagues in multiple domain teams. Youll also use communicate with stakeholders to ensure clarity and alignment with business objectives and successful project delivery. Itll also be your responsibility to:
  • Prepare and take ownership for all project plans, controls and resource plans
  • Manage and report on project costs, ensuring the project is completed within budget
  • Lead and define a project initiation document or equivalent Agile artefact, ensuring that the solution clearly supports and is aligned to the companys strategic goals
  • Lead the analysis of problem and opportunity statements and prepare estimates for approval, leading the creation of a financial business case
  • Identify, track, manage and mitigate any project risks, assumptions, issues and dependencies
The skills youll needYoull need an appropriate project management qualification and proven change or technology project management experience. Youll also need:
  • Experience of delivering strategic projects that support the business strategy and its growth agenda
  • Experience of delivering programme management in a technology or IT function using Agile methodology and associated toolsets and methodologies as well as Waterfall methods
