Venesky-Brown’s client, a public sector organisation in Edinburgh, is currently looking to recruit a Project Manager – Recruitment for an initial 9 month contract with option to extend on a rate of £450-£500/day (Inside IR35). This role will be a hybridof working at home and in the office.Responsibilities:- The organisation includes a key project to implement a new Oracle Fusion HCM solution, along with Oracle Recruit, to support the Recruitment team, and improve the candidates’ experience during the recruitment process. The project is underway, and Phase 1is due to go live by end of 2024; there may be further phases.- There will also be some work in Phase 1 to automate the data transfer between the existing ATS (iCIMS) and the new Oracle Fusion Onboarding solution, to reduce the requirement for data migration of “in flight” candidates. Part of the role is to ensure alignmentto the overall organisation and the new Target Operating Model. -This Recruitment project has concluded the procurement and design phase and is ready to commence the build and test phase with the vendor (IBM) and the business.Essential Skills:- Experience leading projects within an HR environment, ideally including experience managing full lifecycle of recruitment projects- Experience in agile and waterfall project principles, including proportionate project management (PPM) that supports delivery through effective techniques for planning, monitoring and controlling projects; - Proven leadership, interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build effective relationships that support collaborative working and development/delivery of shared outcomes;- Able to balance reactive work with strategic planning in order to solve, but also pre-empt, problems or issues that could impact on project delivery or the realisation of benefits.- Ability to quickly develop awareness of the wider People Directorate and environment and able to assess appropriate connections and interdependencies across projects. - Experience of managing vendors and complex stakeholder landscape. - Experience of working in the public sector, ideally within the HR function.- Experience of working as part of a complex ERP implementation programme.- Sound business case approval skills to support development of phase 2 Recruitment deliverables.If you would like to hear more about this opportunity please get in touch.Required skills
