Job Description

Project Architect (Permanent Position)Reference: NHED518Location: EdinburghSalary: Dependent on experienceAbout the company and role:A fantastic opportunity has become available for an experience Project Architect to join an award-winning consultancy based in Edinburgh. The company work with architects, building surveyors and project managers which has helped them to become one of thecountrys most respected multi-disciplinary consultancies. They cover a wide range of projects including, conservation of historic listed buildings, designs for contemporary developments, specialised building surveys to ambitious and visionary master plans.The successful candidate will require post part 3 experience and be comfortable working across all RIBA stages. You will need to demonstrate a good technical understanding of how buildings go together with an interest in existing buildings particularly inthe commercial, tourism & leisure sectors.On offer is an attractive salary and benefits package that helps to supports professional growth.Skills, Experience & Responsibilities for the role of Architect:

  • ARB Registered
  • Experience using ArchiCAD (beneficial)
  • Job running experience (comfortable taking ownership and be able to lead project teams)
  • The ability to run construction projects, identify the work required at all RIBA stages and manage projects
  • Client facing with a focus on excellent customer service
  • High commercial awareness on project profitability
  • Offer guidance to junior members of the team
  • Proactive and ambitious approach to projects
  • Demonstrate high level of diligence and organisational skills
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
