Product Analyst required to join a growing SaaS company in Edinburgh, with plenty of flexibility on remote working and you will only need to be in the office circa once a month.The company:They are a high-growth scale up and have expanded their global presence - they are now working in over 20 countries and are continuing to move into new territories. They are currently across Europe and Australia and are now targeting the US as their nextventure, with plenty of opportunities coming with it. With expansion however comes new product questions.They are headquartered in Edinburgh and are hugely flexible. The role can be mostly home based, with requirements to come into the Edinburgh office about once a month for workshops - these can take 2 or 3 days but if you live far enough away, this can beexpensed.The company are a MarTech (Marketing Technology) powerhouse and their clients are real household names. Their end goal is to help their customers to solve real business problems, to increase profit and make their lives easier!The role:At present, the product team consists of seven people, including the Head of Product. The role has arisen purely down to the growing of the team and they are looking for this team to be twelve soon (9 x Product and 3 x UX). This person will work under theProduct Manager and will work closely with them to support on working with the business and customers to evolve the product strategy. This role would suit a Product Analyst, Junior Product Owner, Junior Business Analyst or Junior Project Manager, who is keento expand their product journey.The person for this role will have to have strong documentation experience and you will initially be sitting alongside the other Product Associates and Managers, working across the business as well as the customers. You will ideally come from a softwareor SaaS background, and be comfortable with high growth. Its not quite a start-up, but someone with that exposure could suit well.They are an Agile environment and do try and perform "true Agile". That means they dont have Project Managers, and you will also be responsible for project delivery occasionally. You will gain huge interaction across the business as it is a small, but growingteam and will have very close interactions with the Development teams, as well as clients and stakeholders.Your background and experience:** Coming from a Junior Product Owner or Junior Business Analyst/Project Manager background** Having worked for ideally a SaaS company or software start-up, but a product focused business can also work** Strong experience in documentation, as well as some Project Management skills** Carry out research to understand tactical changes and value delivery** Write and refine user stories to be completed by the Dev team** Understand and unblock value delivery along with the Senior Engineers** Knowledge of Agile - Scrum or KanbanThis is an opportunity to work for a growing SaaS company, alongside some huge global clients whilst still in a small and Agile business.If this is of interest, please apply or call Hamish at Cathcart Associates for a chat.
