Process Development ManagerThe companyI am delighted to work with a thriving bio therapeutics manufacturing and development business. They offer a dynamic and fast paced environment in which to develop experience and grow your career.About the roleThis is a senior process development position with 10 direct line reports.The role is ideal for someone who has strong demonstrable experience in a senior process development role and has either previous line management or team supervisory experience. Applicants must have brilliant communication and the ability to work in a fast paced team. Candidates with minimum 5 years+ experience in a similar process development role will be considered.Ongoing training will be provided where necessary.Key responsibilities- Leading scale up and process development activities- Project management and ensuring delivery of milestones- Support GMP manufacturing, QC and QA- Day to day management of the development laboratories- Growing the team of scientists and devising training plans- Management and development of a team of scientistsRequired experience;- PhD or equivalent experience in relevant area- Minimum 5 years + in similar process development role- Cell biology background is essential- GMP and aseptic cleanroom experience are essential- Applicants must have had experience of delegating work/ supervising others- Previous line management experience would be an advantage- Strong communication and interpersonal skillsKeywords:Process development, upstream, downstream, production, manufacturing, GMP, Cgmp, cell therapeutics, cellular therapy, therapies, biotechnology, biopharmaceuticals, research, leader, manager, management, senior.Harris Lord is acting as a recruitment agency for this role Required skills
