Job Description

  • Be part of a cross-functional team including working with DevOps specialists, Engineering Managers and more
  • Take the reins across automated/systems/environmental testing and script writing as well as test infrastructure maintenance and improvement
  • Operate as a key test figurehead as you assist with DevOps / CI/CD management offering testing perspectives and guidance along the way
  • Develop continuous test suites and continuously simplify, automate, and improve wherever possible
  • Mentoring less senior personnel on matters related to test, whether Test specialists themselves or from other disciplines within the companys technical function
What youll bring to the table to achieve this:
  • Strong knowledge and skills across test automation (preferably with a range of relevant automation tools)
  • Strong hands-on programming background ideally with either Python, or if not C# / Java / C / C++ with a willingness to learn and cross train into Python
  • Previous dealings with DevOps technologies and DevOps-oriented settings including exposure to tools such as Jenkins, TeamCity, Bamboo, and similar
  • Ideally any previous working in Test Driven Development and/or Behaviour Driven Development environments
