Principal Biostatistician*Principal Biostatistician required by leading Biotechnology firm*A leading Biotech with offices all across the UK are currently on the lookout for a Principal Biostatistician to join a team in research design, analytical strategy and developing and reviewing statistical analysis plans.Upon joining, the Principal Biostatistician will perform and supervise statistical analysis and provide input into statistical reports. The Principal Biostatistician will be expected to work with cross functional teams across the business to harvest the most efficiency in their work and will be integral in leading Biostatistical projects, ensuring deadlines are hit. In terms of skills, the Principal Biostatistician must have an excellent understanding of the statistical aspects of Clinical Trials and Observational studies. Experience in statistical analysis in a clinically relevant subject would be great this could be gained within academia or commercially. Ideally, the Principal Biostatistician will have a Masters of PHD in a statistical discipline and have some sort of SAS programming skills, although this is not essential. This opportunity would suit a Senior Biostatistician who is looking for a step up or a Principal Biostatistician who is looking to work with a company who are on the front line in the fight against some of the most debilitating illnesses and diseases in the world.
