Our ambitious and exciting vision is to work at local, national, and international levels, leading innovation and sustainable development in agriculture and rural sectors.We are seeking a Post-Awards Officer to provide post-award administration and reporting support, particularly financial reporting. This role will provide a key link between support and academic functions in SRUC and carry out major compliance actions forindividual project delivery post-award. This will link closely with the key reporting types in our major funders, including RESAS, EU and UKRI, and provide a connection between ROS (Research Operations and Strategy) and the individual project teams.Key Responsibilities: Provide hands-on post award administrative support for research projects including invoicing, maintenance of records and databases, and assisting with the development, review, and implementation of post award reporting queries to ensure research and administrativeprocesses comply with legislation and good research governance. Provide support to PIs and finance and audit officer in the financial reporting and recording post award on research projects and portfolios. Provide high-quality, comprehensive, and proactive communications on latest news from ROS. This will include dealing with enquiries and correspondence, prioritising and allocating incoming communications for response as appropriate, drafting replies onbehalf of ROS. Monitor emails to ensure timely responses to any queries, issues, or requests for information. Liaise with staff in the Faculties and Directorates, as well as external stakeholders by telephone, in person or in writing as appropriate in regard to operational management and administration of research projects and to resolve matters.
