Job Description

PMO Manager x 3Remote6 Month Contract, Inside IR35My high-profile banking client have a fantastic opportunity for a PMO Manager. Youll need to show real passion for all things PMO and have strong experience in governance and stakeholder management. The positions are for an initial contract of 6 months withthe strong possibility of extension. The positions are fully remote however if you are local to Leeds or Edinburgh working from the office is also available.Responsibilities:

  • Manage the provision of a comprehensive business management/PMO service for a defined area within the Insurance and Wealth Transformation Directorate (specific areas for this request are Investments, Europe and General Insurance).
  • Proven ability to build strong Project Team and Stakeholder relationships to develop a key network of contacts that aid the progress of projects.
  • Strong Change Management background, including experience of risk and wider RAID management within the change environment.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and efficiently with people by the means of oral and written communications, tailoring communications appropriately to the audience.
  • Capable of managing wide ranging stakeholder relationships across the lab and business.
  • Experience of management of milestones, deliverables and dependencies to control slippage across IT and Business change.
  • Highly adept at planning, organising, prioritising and controlling their own workload, as well other more junior colleagues.
Qualities:
  • Well need you to have experience within a similar role
  • Formal project management/PMO qualification (Prince2, APMP, P3O etc)
  • Proficient in standard office software - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MSP, SharePoint.
  • Strong team player but able to work effectively on their own.
  • A well-developed communication kit bag with stakeholder management experience
  • Evidence of engaging with stakeholders
  • Youll be comfortable supporting team members
