Platform Support Analyst - Edinburgh - Temporary role with a competitive rate on offerWe have an opportunity for an experienced Platform Support Analystto join a leading financialgroup in Edinburgh. This firm encourages a supportive and family environment, where their employees work hard and are rewarded with career progression paths and learning and development.Overview ofPlatform Support Analyst role:The Platform Centre is a key area in forming strong relationships with internal and external partners to ensure the service provided is seamless and meets all regulatory requirements. This is achieved by having a strong focus on providing excellent customer service and a high level of customer support as well as ensuring efficient maintenance and servicing of our customers accounts. The Platform Support function (within the Platform Centre) provides technical and subject matter expertise to support the broader Platform Operation including Front Office, Back Office, Investment Admin, IT, Sales, Marketing, and Oversight Functions either on a BAU or programme basis.Expeinence and Skills:

  • Expert knowledge of Composer and other Platform-specific systems
  • In-depth technical knowledge of relevant legislation (including recent/upcoming changes)
  • Working experience of tax regulations for pension and investment products
  • Strong working knowledge of MS packages (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Strong working knowledge of compliance & risk policies
  • Previous experience withJira
  • Experience:
  • Previous experience of working in a Platform or Mutual Funds environment highly desirable
  • From working in best practice operational environments
  • Working in complex organisational environments, where operational issues are linked to various stakeholders, with competing dependencies and drivers
  • Operating in a continuous business and customer improvement environment
  • Supporting operational risk processes
  • Process mapping andsupporting operational system changes and implementations
  • Knowledge of the project life cycle
  • Qualifications:
  • Project management, investment/financial planning, platform, or pensions qualifications - desirable
  • Willingness to apply for and study towards IOC or relevant qualifications up to Diploma level
