Job Description

Senior Payroll Executive Edinburgh Full-Time Permanent Hybrid Responsibilities Your primary duties and responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Precisely calculate and process payrolls, including taxes, employee benefits, sick leave, overtime, and other payroll deductions.
  • Maintain meticulous payroll records and ensuring the accurate and timely entry of all data into the payroll system.
  • Ensuring compliance is always maintained.
  • Provide excellent customer service by promptly addressing payroll-related inquiries and efficiently resolving any issues.
  • Uphold accuracy in record-keeping and generate comprehensive payroll reports.
  • Stay informed about changes in payroll laws and regulations and effectively communicate any updates to clients.
  • Collaborate with the HR team to guarantee that employee records are up-to-date and accurate.
  • Participate in ad hoc and special projects to improve payroll processes.
  • Undertaking additional tasks as assigned by the Line Manager, e.g. budget reports, HR compensation and benefits projects, etc.
Qualifications and Experience Essential
  • Relevant qualification
  • 3 years of experience in payroll processing
  • Vendor communication and management experience.
  • Knowledge of payroll regulations and tax laws.
  • Extensive work experience with employee payroll software.
  • Excellent computer skills, including proficiency in
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience with global payroll tax and processing is a plus.
