The main purposeof the job is assume day to day management of the care package, supporting the Nurse Care Manager in all aspects of care planning, care management, teaching, supporting Support Workers and leading the team by example.Our service user is a sociable and fun loving young man. An important aspect of the job is to develop and facilitate a programme of social and leisure activities. The ultimate aim is to support him to lead a rich and fulfilled life.We are seeking someone who cares passionately about delivering excellent care and has a desire to help others realise their full potential. Our ideal candidate will have proven management and leadership skills, experience of training and supervision, andenjoys helping junior colleagues to learn and develop their skills.We welcome candidates with a holistic approach to care. You will have a calm, positive disposition and a happy persona. You will have the ability to work sensitively in the homecare and community environment, and will work harmoniously with our service user,his family and your colleagues.Our service user requires day shift care from Monday to Saturday. There is a robust training and supervision programme in place and the successful candidate will be fully supported in learning all aspects of the job.
