The Role The Personal Assistant Team Leader will be responsible to lead, resource manage and develop a team of Personal Assistants aligned to a specific division Key Responsibilities: Manage the team effectively through the efficient use of all resources, systems and procedures. - Responsible for their team providing a great quality service and customer experience, being proactive to understand and develop others SME knowledge of their aligned Business Area i.e. Open/Heritage/Group, Shared Services - Ensure the team are clear on their own goals and how that aligns to the goals and strategy of the business area and the wider organisation. - Positively lead and encourage idea generation amongst the PA community to deliver improvements and results. - Set clear expectations of what high performance looks like through reward and recognition processes and manage underperformance consistently. - Actively demonstrate leadership and influencing skills whilst role modelling Phoenix value based behaviours - Be the escalation point for colleagues and stakeholders where required service is not up to standing, addressing this through policy, standards, coaching, advice and guidance implimentation - Pro-actively manage colleagues concerns, training, development needs and resource constraints to achieve positive outcomes. - PAs and Exco (+2) esculation point for strategic change, development, demand constraints, model design etc. - Will typically manage 12 PAs - Typically reports to Executive PA - Authority to prioritise own workload and reallocate/prioritise resources within own team/department - Driving clear resource and supplier management framework, changes and oversight of delivery to business division alignments What are we looking for - This is a people management role so experience of managing and leading others is essential. - The ability to create a motivate and maintain morale within the PA community in a highly engaging way - An excellent communicator and influencer - Commercial acumen someone who understands the business opportunities and challenges - A creative and dynamic thinker Why choose us Bring your whole self, skills and dedication to the Phoenix Group and well recognise your effort, support your development and help to drive your ambition.
