Operational Risk Consultant - Edinburgh Our client, one of the worlds largest investment companies, is seeking an Operational Risk Consultant to join their growing team! This opportunity will allow you to join a leading organization with commitment to excellence. This Operational Risk Consultant job will allow you to utilize your previous conduct and regulatory risk experience to support the Advisor and Personal Risk and Compliance team with oversight, review, and enhancement of operational risk frameworks. You willpartner with the business to support a positive risk culture and effectively manage risk. You will be working within the second line and developing support across business functions. Responsibilities:- Develop and maintain effective relationships across LOBs to support effective use of operational risk framework and tools.- Lead the implementation and embedding of the framework, policies, and risk management tools- Use your forward-thinking abilities to support and influence risk management and proactive risk advisory - Support the CRO and Executive Teams on risk reporting, risk profile and provide communication on how risks are being identified- Provide support and SME conduct and regulatory knowledge to improve processesRequirements:- 3+ years risk experience preferably within Asset Management, Investments, Adviser Platforms, or similar- Experience of providing advice, oversight, and challenge on risk management framework implementation,- Knowledge of operational risk management - Experience contributing to framework components - Strong regulatory and conduct knowledge- Exceptional communication, relationship management and stakeholder engagement skills If you are interested in learning more about this opportunity, please get in touch with Samantha Milligan.
