Job Description

- Network Security Analyst- Fully Remote- 6 months initial contract- Excellent Daily Rate (via Umbrella)- ASAP StartMy market leading global client requires a seasoned Network Security Analyst to provide support across the wider network infrastructure as the security function grows. You will be responsible for Edge Security, load traffic management and the F5 product,managing tickets and performing day to day operations to maintain SLAs and business functions.The role will require broad knowledge and commercial experience across Web Security, F5 and Big IP, including certificate requests and renewals and associated troubleshooting. Additional experience of working across a blend of WebSphere, IIS, Tomcat, Apache,EpiServer and Proxy Internet Access technologies and compliance with information security policies is beneficial.Essential Skills:

  • Knowledge and experience in working with F5 Technologies, including but not limited to ASM, LTM, AAM and GTM
  • Experience at delivering technology solutions at an enterprise level.
  • Renewing certificates
  • Excellent diagnostic and troubleshooting skills, and the ability to excel under pressure
  • Understanding of DNS, TCP/IP addressing and networking (Internet, routers, switches)
  • Understanding of SANs (Subject alternative names)
  • Knowledge of Web Services, Web and Application Services, Java and .NET technologies, and cloud services
  • Background in scripting, code development such as PowerShell, Ansible, Java, .NET, etc is beneficial
  • Ability to work in teams on small to medium projects.
  • Excellent understanding of cloud and on-prem based infrastructure solutions
  • WAF, and Web Proxies
  • Working knowledge of Certificate/CA/PKI infrastructure
  • A computer science or related technical degree or proven track record of related work
  • Developed written and verbal skills, assignment and priority flexibility, and time management skills
