THE ROLEWe have an exciting opportunity within the Network Planning Team based in our Edinburgh office for a Network Distribution Trainee.Its a fantastic opportunity to join SGN for an individual who has an interest in the gas industry.This is an 18-month dedicated training programme, which will fully equip you to be a successful Network Assistant and provide you with significant opportunity to subsequently develop your career.The programme will provide exposure to a wide range of business areas across SGN and successful applicants will gain an understanding and appreciation of the work SGN are involved in and with a specific focus on the role of Network Planning.In addition, you will spend approx. 3.5 months completing a structured training programme. These courses aim to provide you with a sound understanding of the gas industry and equip you with the necessary skills to fulfil your role within Network Planning.The remainder of the initial 18-month training period will be spent in the Network Planning department to develop your skills and experience which will then, upon meeting the criteria, result in a full-time role being offered.What Network Planning is responsible for within SGN:
