Job Description

Dawson Levy are proud to be recruiting for a Multi-Skilled Electrician in the Edinburgh area. The Company:The client is a global facilities management provider who pride themself in offering the best service over the UK, you will be part of a fast growing team who offer several avenues of progression.The Position is for an experienced Electrician to work on an Ikea contract in Edinburgh, you will be working as a static engineer covering electrical maintenance, PPMs and general maintenance jobs.Shift Pattern:Week 1 - Working Monday - Thursday - Fri OFF - Working Sat & SunWeek 2 - Monday OFF - Working Tuesday - Friday Sat & Sun offHours: 7am - 4pmDuties:

  • Support the Estates Management maintenance Services within the store.
  • Fault finding and repairing electrical systems.
  • Carry out PPMs and remedials on electrical and mechanical equipment such as but not limited to AHUs, Emergency Lighting, Pumps and Motors.
  • To work as part of a s and duties relevant to the position
  • multi-skilled team providing an efficient estates service.
  • The electrician will need to undertake any other reasonable task.
  • Carry out the work of other trades where there is an interface to the work in hand with a level of competence thats outside core trade.
  • To adhere to Company policies and procedures
  • To observe statutory and other relevant requirements at all times in particular those relating to the Health & Safety at Work Act, COSHH regulations and Electrical IEE regulations.

  • Core Electrical qualification such as NVQ or City & Guilds
