Right now, theyre on the lookout for a new Motion Graphics Designer/Video Editor to jointheir expanding Film and Photography Team in an award-winning Clients Department. What youll be doing:This role is responsible for editing video and audio projects efficiently and to a consistently high standard, including generating motion graphic and animations. Working closely with the Senior Video Editor, key responsibilities include: Support the Senior Video Editor, work closely with them to achieve the goals of the post-production area, team and Firm, carrying out work as delegated by them. Follow the post-production workflow processes to the standards required by the firm, maintain accurate filing systems and update workflow management software. Where required, take a brief to grasp the teams requirements and specifications, following the sign off of the concept by the client. Advise Senior Video Editor and Creative Producer of any potential post-production issues apparent with the agreed creative. Create motion graphics to enhance live action video, and also be capable of delivering entire visual narratives using motion graphics. Attend shoots (both in-house and on location ) taking edit notes, Ingest footage from shoots. Log/input uncut rushes and sound, and synchronising and storing them into files on the system to the required standard. Review the raw material and compose the edit from brief, treatment and shooting notes in an NLE application (currently Adobe Premiere Pro). Suggest and/or select music/soundtrack, B-roll footage etc, as appropriate. Consult with stakeholders and clients to continue developing the cut, incorporating feedback, to make edit decisions to move the work through to final cut stage. When the cut is finalised, grade the footage, sweeten the audio and purchase any B-roll etc required. Add in final graphical content and liaise with colleagues regarding risk warnings, distribution and deliverables.Who were looking for: Experience of editing using NLE application is essential (preferably Premier Pro). Excel in Adobe After Effects. Ability to deliver projects on time and prioritise workload. High attention to detail. Team Player. Experience of Cinema 4D desired but not essential. Experience of Davinci Resolve or other grading software desired.
