Mechanical Engineer - Pressure - Clear training to become "Engineering Surveyor" - £45k - £48k basic & overtime, £4,250 car allowance or car, 12% pension, 25 day holiday, bonus, world class training, for a "UK Top employer" The opportunity:Mechanical Engineers are ace. With an in depth knowledge of all things mechanical and being able to fix anything, these are the true heroes of the engineering world.But there comes a time where you may be looking to "come off the tools" and use all that knowledge to move in to a slightly different career focus, that of a "surveyor". Youve seen these people around - the ones that test and inspect different pressuresystem equipment and make sure everything is working correctly.On that basis, we are looking to recruit a mechanical professional with pressure experience to forge a long term career for a world leading organisation. And this is just the startThe person:Were open to the person here, but we are looking for a HNC level educated professional with experience of maintaining and servicing pressure systems (so pressure vessels, steam pressure equipment, piping, air receivers and heat exchangers etc.)Most important we want you to want to learn new skills and use your mechanical knowledge to develop a further knowledge in what is very much a career focused role. A role where there will be thousands invested in you, so someone who understands that forthe unique opportunity that it is.Any inspection knowledge or background would be marvellous too!The role:As alluded to, this will take your hands on mechanical knowledge and teach you new skills around more testing and inspection of pressure systems.Anywhere there are lifting equipment, we will be inspecting them. So the likes of marine, agriculture, manufacturing, power plants, airports You get the picture! You will manage your own diary and go to different sites, making sure the equipment is safewithin.We dont expect you to hit the ground running, training can be anything up to 6 months so a real chance to form new skills in a world renowned company.The company:This is working for a certified UK top employer who have a world class reputation for training and developing their staff.
