Job Description

Were looking for a creative, self-driven and innovative Marketing Manager who can think on their feet, to join the UK Customer Marketing team. At M&G our focus is on ensuring positive customer outcomes (financial and customer experience) and keeping our customers at the heart of everything we do. So we have a responsibility to ensure this ethos flows through all our direct customer touchpoints. Thisis now more important than ever given the introduction of the Consumer Duty directive from the FCA in 2023. As part of the UK Customer Marketing Team, you will focus on the development of customer journeys, be data led for DM and E Mail direct response campaigns, provide management and oversight of customer literature, and provide Marketing support to aid projector business changes impacting end customers. You will also have a role in introducing innovation that benefits the customer and Marketing efficiencies. Key Responsibilities for this role:

  • Create and deliver innovative D2C content across the marketing mix to support our customers
  • Preparation of activity proposals and plans to identify and manage deliverables, targets/metrics, budgets, within timescales, as well as ROI measurement criteria to support project objectives
  • Management of direct response, lead generation campaigns through Direct Mail and e mail, to existing backbook customers and new prospects
  • Ensure that all marketing activities comply with the regulatory, Conduct Risk (Customer at Heart) and Treating Customers Fairly requirements of FCA
Key Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
  • Relevant experience gained in financial services marketing, customer Marketing (D2C)
  • Excellent understanding of content and design approaches including message hierarchy, tone of voice, content flow and working to brand guidelines, being creatively critical with exceptional attention to detail both on and offline
  • Successful track record in developing marketing campaigns and support from idea creation, development and delivery, and KPI measurement, always with the relevant customer lens
  • Experience in content creation financial promotion and non-financial promotion
  • Ability to remain flexible in a fast changing and pressured environment
  • Ability to write good, clear, modern and grammatically correct English and to be able to flex styles dependant on audience
  • Knowledge and experience of Aprimo system, or other marketing digital asset management systems, would be beneficial
