Manufacturing Process Technicians with an Electro-Mechanical backgrund looking to join a company at the most exciting time of the process, while our client transfers their world-leading technology from R&D to manufacture and bring productsto market.The Manufacturing Process Technician will work within the Operations team, you will be involved in the assembly, test and machinery operation. You will use your skills in our new manufacturing facility to support the companys mission of transforming radiology.My client is a manufacturing a Medical imaging device which helps patients by enabling early and accurate diagnosis.However, 2D X-rays can be inconclusive as they give a fundamentally limited view of our 3D bodies.3D images are possible with CT scannersbut these are much more expensive, give a high dose of radiation and moving a critically ill patient to a scanner can be labour-intensive and risky.Our client is helping make 3D imaging more accessible to the people who need it by producing mobile, flat-panel X-ray systems that can be brought to patients giving low-cost, low-dose imaging.As a Manufacturing Process Technician, you will ideally have a Science or Engineering HNC or equivalent experience.The Main duties and responsibilities of the role are as follows:
