Job Description

iMultiply are working exclusively with a leading firm in the tech space to recruit a Management Accountant based in Edinburgh. The role is a permanent position offering excellent career prospects and study support for candidates looking to pursue a professionalqualification.The CompanyThis rapidly growing business have customers right across the UK and are currently going through an exciting period of change. The company has developed a pioneering solution that allows them to consistently stay one step ahead of their competition whilstalso adapting to the ever changing sector they operate within.The RoleThis is a newly created position that will help support this high knit finance team and liaise with senior managers and budget holders. This role is ideally suited to someone looking to kickstart their career in accounting and press ahead with their accounting qualifications.You will be involved in but not restricted to the following duties:

  • Process End of Month Accounts - P&L, Balance Sheet, Aged Debtors and Creditors, Stock Costings, Prepayments and Accruals
  • Produce End of Month Management Packs
  • Produce accurate Finance reports to specific deadlines
  • Forecasts Budgeting and Planning
  • Manage Budgets and give monthly report on spend
  • Complete Monthly VAT return
  • Bank Reconciliations
  • Expense Analysis
  • Manage Cashflow, ensuring it is up to date, accurate and monitor trends
  • Process all invoices
To be considered for this opportunity, you must have the following experience:
  • Ideally suited to someone part qualified or looking to pursue qualifications
  • A minimum of 2 years practical finance experience in a similar role.
  • Previous experience using accounting softwares is preferential.
  • Intermediate to advanced user of Excel
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
