We cover the whole range of areas within IT, from Infrastructure & Architecture to Digital Transformation & Innovation.The Cyber Security Team will act as SME on IT security, work with stakeholders to provide viable IT security solutions and ensure delivery of new fully tested secure cyber services in to TSB.The core purpose of the role is to act as a security consultant with deep technical, architecture and risk management skills across the change lifecycle and business functions.As a Strategy & Architecture Manager you will mature, maintain and support the information security practice, whilst balancing the security needs with business requirements to deliver world-class service to internal and external customers.What we need todayWed love our Manager Strategy & Architecture to have these skills and experience:

  • Strong academics, including a minimum of 2.1 degree or relevant industry experience
  • Extensive experience in the definition and development of large-scale security architecture solutions in a dynamic and fluid environment.
  • Knowledge of all areas of Cyber and Information Security, with expertise in Endpoint Protection, Cloud/Perimeter/Infrastructure Controls, Data Protection, Identity and Access Management, Security Event Management, and Vulnerability Assessment.
  • Experience aligning application of security to controls based on security frameworks, i.e. NIST, ISO 27001, CISO.
  • Experience of designing innovative Cyber and Information Security technology systems.
  • Experience with e-commerce, financial and high-volume online systems.
  • Active awareness of the attack landscape of the financial services.
    • What we need tomorrowWe know it takes more than just skills and experience. So, we want our Manager Strategy & Architecture to:
  • Provide security technology consultation, advice on technology options and develop a deep understanding of the banks business and wider IT requirements.
  • Deliver security architecture and consultancy services across the project lifecycle to ensure security requirements are clear and met within agreed timescales and budgets.
  • Contribute to and manage the local security architecture framework including principles, policies, standards, methodologies, tools, and patterns. This will be aligned to the enterprise and global architecture function.
  • Ensure the technology and enterprise architecture teams apply the framework consistently and in a meaningful way.
  • Assure all solutions and products are evaluated to meet architectural designs and are aligned and optimised to deliver the business goals in a cost effective, scalable and agile way, as well as leading the business and technical engagement to drive adoption of the IT strategy.
  • Be accountable for the management of IT Architecture assuring compliance with the Architecture Framework, target architecture, promote re-use and assure that the solution is affordable and deliverable.
  • Develop and maintain close working relationships with business stakeholders, IT & operational teams.
