Job Description

Redmill A & Fs client is looking for a Management Accountant for an exciting new temporary role. This is an excellent opportunity for you to take an influential role in a small finance team, supporting the Finance Director, preparing management accountsand liaising with senior stakeholders. JobThe job of Management Accountant will give you the opportunity to be involved with the following:
  • Taking the lead in preparing management accounts including budgeting & forecasting
  • Reviewing & preparing MI
  • Liaising with key stakeholders
  • Preparing KPIs
  • Preparing VAT returns
  • Discussing & advising performance against budget with budget holders including costs
  • Liaising with Auditors
YouAs the Management Accountant you will ideally be skilled and/or qualified in the following:
  • Skilled in carrying out the above tasks
  • Ideally a Qualified Accountant, but applications will be considered from candidates who are Part-Qualified or QBE who can demonstrate the relevant experience
  • Hands-on accounting skills in a data driven environment
  • Computer literate including MS Excel (ideally pivot tables, lookups, conditional formatting)
  • Good verbal & written communication skills both - including the ability to talk confidently on financial & technical issues to a range of stakeholders
