First Achieves Engineering Division are recruiting for a Electrical Maintenance Team Leader to be based around the Livingston aera. This is an exciting opportunity to join an established and forward-thinking business that is heavily involved with the Aerospace& Energy industries.It is important for the candidate to have had experience working in a heavy industrial environment.The role requires to work in a shift pattern, 37 hours per week, on rotating shifts including early shift, back shift and night shift.Salary is in the region of £42,000 per annum, plus company pension & OVERTIME.Role To support the Maintenance Manager and Plant Engineering Manager in achieving business objectives in terms of asset reliability & maintainability, cost control, plant upgrades and improvements. To support achievement of productivity targets To support achievement of agreed customer delivery times ensuring that customers receive a high standard of service at all times To schedule resources within your team in order to meet production requirements and ensure appropriate prioritisation of resources and activity to achieve the plan. To identify, develop and implement continuous improvement activities with your teams To undertake any other duties specified by the Maintenance Manager to fulfil the business needs. To act as the High Voltage Senior Appointed Person on site (with appropriate training).Requirements* Experience of managing a team is highly desirable, however individuals will be considered where they demonstrate the relevant strengths and traits required of the role* Detailed working knowledge and at least 5 years experience of working in a heavy engineering environment* Experience and working knowledge of High-Pressure hydraulics, Medium and High Voltage electrical equipment, LOLER equipment and pressure systems* Experience of Programmable Logic Control (PLC) systems desirable* Basic financial awareness eg cost control, procurement of materials & services and work estimating* PC literacy is essential with a knowledge of CMMS (Computerised Maintenance Management Systems) desirable* Good level of verbal and written skills eg team briefs, appraisals, shift handover reports and equipment survey reports and recommendations
