Social Worker (Community Mental Health Team) - Temporary Full Time Contract (3 Months +)Based within Edinburgh we are looking for 2 Qualified Social Workers to provide assessment and care management services to people with mental health difficulties. You must hold a BA (Hons) in Social Work or equivalent and be registered with the ScottishSocial Services Council. Applications from Mental Health Officers and Practice Teachers are desirable. .It is essential you have experience in assessment and care management; working in a multi-disciplinary setting and familiar with local authority systems and processes.and previous experience of using AIS and SWIFT is desirable. You must have effective interpersonaland communication skills with the ability to prioritise your workload; work as part of a team as well as on your own; use various IT packages; have good assessment and writing skills; able to organise and deliver care management responsibilities and must bereliable and able to act on your own initiative. You must have a flexible approach; be highly motivated and committed to social work values.Newly Qualified Social Workers with relevant experience working within a community mental health team setting will also be considered.You must be registered with the Scottish Social Services Council.This post is considered Regulated Work with Vulnerable Children and/or Protected Adults, under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007.
