Lloyds Banking Group support a culture of Inclusion and opportunities todevelop to become the Bank of the future and Helping Britain Prosper.On behalf of Lloyds Banking Group, AMS are looking for a Legal Services Sourcing Manager for a Day Rate Contract which will run through to end of December 23 with the potential to extend. Can be based in Bristol/ Edinburgh /Leeds or HalifaxPurpose of the Role:The Legal Services Sourcing Manager will be supporting the Legal Services sourcing activity within Lloyds Banking Group. The successful candidate will work closely with legal teams in the bank optimising how Lloyds buy Legal Services contractually.As a Legal Services Sourcing Manager you will;

• Manage the input into category and sub-category strategies reflecting external market conditions whilst optimising the cost of ownership to deliver sustainable strategic direction for the business.
• Deliver opportunities that drive down cost and deliver value for goods and/or services through the identification of cost saving initiatives in line with the Groups targets and objectives.
• Develop effective relationships with key internal stakeholders to increase their awareness of sourcing and support for sourcing initiatives.
• Help to identify best practices, ascertain stakeholders future requirements and where appropriate.
• Respond to changes in the internal and external business environment to secure best value from third party expenditure.
• Lead cross functional teams through the sourcing process, leveraging economies of scale through robust contract negotiations, supplier selection and management of the commercial aspects of the 3rd party supplier relationships.
• Apply knowledge of contractual terms and conditions ensuring appropriate risk mitigation embedded into supply contracts to provide high quality services to the Group.
• Work collaboratively with the supplier management teams to develop and implement the appropriate supplier governance structure ensuring effective contract handover.
• Work effectively with internal teams in sourcing and business units to deliver effective management of all aspects of the sourcing life cycle
• Report and track financial benefits versus pipeline and targets, identifying potential risks.
• Undertake all activities in line with all relevant group policies and within Group risk appetite, ensuring compliance to all policies, procedures and systems providing an efficient and auditable sourcing trail that will ensure robust risk management.
• Maintain an up to date awareness of own specialist area and market dynamics, taking action accordingly to ensure the best contracts are in place to meet stakeholder needs.
• Demonstrate core LBG values and behaviours as an active team member and where appropriate, develop and motivate colleagues to be their best.

What we require from the candidate:

• Working knowledge of SAP Ariba sourcing and contract modules is desirable
• Strong stakeholder management skills
• Strong communication skills & self-starter is essential
• Strong negotiation skills are essential
• Ability to provide technical guidance when required on managing projects and/or programmes within desired cost, time, and quality parameters.
• Financial Services background and experience of Legal category sourcing is desirable.
