Job Description

Type - Contract (Inside IR35)Duration - Initial 6 monthsLocation - Multiple Locations across the UKHybrid - 2 days in officeDesirable - Background in Financial Services / BankingWe are looking for a Learning and Development Project Manager who has experience working on small/medium projects.Duties of a Project Manager

  • Interpreting and managing the end-to-end project management of the learning elements of projects/programmes including TNA, resource allocation, activity prioritisation, tracking, reporting and risk and issue management
  • Develop and deliver the overall learning project plan, identifying assumptions, dependencies and deliverables and make recommendations to ensure all risks are managed and mitigated effectively.
  • Managing with full project governance as well as the internal governance approach used by the Learning team
  • Working closely with business units, all relevant learning teams and 3rd party suppliers to research, shape and recommend appropriate, pragmatic and impactful learning solutions in line with business requirements and programme deliverables
  • Leading the design activity including external designers and manage the delivery programme working with internal delivery teams. Arrange walkthrough and sign offs of training proposals and of the solution with key stakeholders
  • Managing timescales and budgets, make recommendations and take appropriate actions to ensure delays, difficulties and cost over-runs are addressed and communicated to all key stakeholders
  • Calculating detailed costs, track on a monthly basis, identify any opportunities
  • Reviewing MI and evaluation to identify opportunities to drive on-going efficiency and effectiveness of learning
Skills & Experience:
  • Previous Project Management experience with the learning and development sector
  • Learning and Development Designer experience
  • Project & budget Management
  • Extensive Learning & Development expertise
  • Management of learning professionals
  • Organisational Skills - The ability to multitask, be proactive and ability to work on own with minimal guidance
