Job Description

L&D ConsultantWFH initially (Hybrid role with offices in Falkirk or Edinburgh once re-open)£35,645 - £45,153Full Time Permanent Position (35 hours a week with Flexi-time)I am pleased to be working again with another of our long-standing clients in the Social Housing Sector who are looking to recruit an L&D Consultant. This is an excellent opportunity to join a fast-paced team during a period of exciting change, in a rolethat offers a great deal of autonomy where you decide your own calendar.Duties include:

  • The ongoing input and development of a Learning & Development strategy, which supports the delivery of business planning at a group and partner level
  • Undertaking learning needs analyses with key stakeholders to identify ways to improve business performance
  • Taking the lead on learning interventions required for the delivery of key projects and change initiatives, including but not limited to agile / remote working, equality, diversity & Inclusion, leadership development and health, safety & wellbeing
  • To regularly review L&D programmes/training methods/material/contents with key stakeholders to ensure they meet the needs of the business and are effective
  • Utilising the Totara LMS platform for the delivery of blended learning interventions
  • Independently designing and sourcing appropriate learning solutions, based on key stakeholder requirements
  • The monitoring, management, and reporting on partner L&D budgets
  • Working with the L&D team to continually develop and improve the L&D service delivery model, services, systems, and reporting
To be considered for these roles, candidates must have the following:
  • Educationto Degree Level or equivalent experience
  • Experience of leading and delivering L&D services in a consultative way for a large or medium sized multi site organisation
  • Experience conducting training needs analysis and L&D planning to manage and deliver L&D projects and interventions with a focus on innovation and utilising new tech
  • Significant experience of designing, developing, delivering and evaluating blended learning solutions
  • Experience working with a high degree of autonomy with excellent time management and prioritisation
  • Confidence liaising with various stakeholders and external providers effectively
  • Excellent team and project management skills
  • Problem Solving and Data Analysis abilities
Desirable Criteria:
  • Experience with MS365 & Totara LMS
  • Knowledge and experience of housing, care, property or other voluntary sector organisations
