Who we are looking for: Portfolio Administration provides operationalinvestment support to the SSGA Portfolio Managers. As the key point of contactfor the Portfolio Management team, and other internal clients, you will beallocated portfolios which youwould be responsible for in an operationalcapacity. What you will be responsible for: As Senior ISG Portfolio Analyst you will: Reconciliations.Cash forecasting and monitoring ofexposure.Verification of fund valuations.Performance calculation and queryresolution.Investigatingand resolving queries from internaland external clients.Support the monthly rebalancing processRegulatory ReportingKey external interactions will be with Custodians,Fund Administrators, Counterparts and other Third Party providers. Internally,you will interactwith Portfolio Managers, Traders, Compliance, Legal and Risk,as well as other operations teams such as Client Administration, New Businessand the Reconciliations team. Portfolio Analysts are expected to consider howcurrent processes and procedures within theteam can be enhanced, looking tostrengthen controls and minimise risk. You will need to build up a strongknowledge of the accounts and products that we support, and be able toconfidently answer any queries on them. What we value: These skills will help yousucceed in this role: Analytically minded with strong problem solvingskillsUnderstanding investment markets andsettlement.Understanding NAV and unit pricecalculationsPerformance measurement experience is anadvantage.Strong MS Windows applications, specificallyExcel.Abilityto prioritize multiple responsibilities tomeet business deliverables.Ability to build strong relationships with bothinternal and external clients.Willing to assume responsibility and takeownership of tasks assigned.Exposure to Bloomberg an advantage.Education& Preferred Qualifications: 1- 2 years of Operations experience gained from aninvestment manager, custodian or fund administratorDegree qualified with a financial or analyticaldiscipline preferred.IOC or other professional qualificationspreferred.Product ExperienceDesirable: Equities, FixedIncome, FX spot and forwards, Exchange Traded Futures and Options.
