Reporting to a Line Manager, youll provide maintenance, training and consultation - going above and beyond to recommend new ways for our customers to competeusing technology.Were looking for people with a strong foundation in IT, particularly Windows and Microsoft Office. An IT-related qualification would be great, but its far from essential. What really counts is that innate love for and understanding of IT - if that soundslike you, youll be right at home.Youll help us byHelping our customers Establishing good working relationships Delivering first-class customer service and support Providing frontline support including documentation and reporting Responding within agreed time limits and Service Level AgreementsHelping the team Managing changing priorities and numerous open cases Working flexibly to assist your colleagues and provide necessary cover Attending internal training to keep up with new technology Working within our policies, procedures and relevant legislation Supporting our equality and diversity policies Recording requests in the Consider IT ticket system Performing other reasonable tasks to help Consider IT operateSolving problems Diagnosing issues with hardware, software and networks - from Windows and Mac workstations to a wide range of software applications and devices like printers or copiers Guiding our customers through troubleshooting and resolution, over the phone or face-to-face Following diagrams and written instructions to repair faults Setting up new user accounts and dealing with password issues Replacing parts and conducting electrical safety checks Configuring, monitoring and maintaining networks and systemsTransforming IT Testing, evaluating and recommending new technology Installing and configuring hardware, systems and software Supporting the roll-out of new applicationsWed love you to have Previous IT experience IT certification or higher education Clean driving licence (preferred, not required)
