The Physical Security Systems team is a niche specialist area offering opportunities for colleagues to develop their expertise as we redefine our methodologies, building thestandard of our security capability and using the newest technology to provide an excellent customer experience.Perhaps you can help make it possibleAbout the roleThis is a unique opening for an enthusiastic and highly motivated IT professional to enhance existing skills or build upon an interest in physical security and transition your IT career into this specialist area.With willingness to learn, well support your development with a clear progression plan, mentorship and training to become a senior technical leader and subject matter expert in the physical security field.The day to day:With training and support, youll work as part of a supportive team to deliver and maintain the Groups physical security solutions, including critical applications that support and monitor the Groups intruder alarm, access control and CCTV monitoring systems.The work youll do is crucial in protecting both our colleagues and customers.Youll help design, document, test, implement and support multiple business applications on 3rd party hosted platforms. This includes solutioning a varied range of project requests while providing technical expertise to ensure integrity, security, complianceand quality standards are adhered to at all times.Well also need you to deliver improvements and new services using Groupwide processes and toolsets and ultimately to contribute to future strategic technology direction.What we need from you:Were looking for a passionate IT professional to join our team and embark on a clear pathway to becoming a leader and technical expert in our physical security team.Youll be mentored and trained to become an Senior SME and technical leader within the team. Whether you already have a background in IT physical security applications and systems, or a generalist IT background and an interest in moving into the physical securityarea, then wed like to hear from you.Essential:

  • Demonstrate a passion for IT systems and a willingness to develop towards becoming a lead expert in the physical security field.
  • Some experience writing technical documentation.
  • A quick learner, who can learn and adapt to new technologies being used within Lloyds and the wider industry whilst supporting those around them on the same journey.
  • Some experience in designing IT solutions
Desirable:
  • Knowledge of physical security IT systems across the industry, up to date knowledge of the threats posed.
  • Experience with some of the following would be useful: Windows Server, SQL, firewalls, network switches, routers, VMware, Intruder Detection Systems, Access Management systems, Infrastructure Development.
  • Experience of Identifying, articulating, and documenting risks using standard toolsets.
