The position is critical to shaping the banks approachin capacity planning, monitoring, and issue remediation. You will Provide an overall leadership role serving as the liaison between the key business and application stakeholders and the infrastructure teams including data centre platform owners, support teams,cloud services, Network, Mainframe, End user support services and SaaS solutions. Youll also identify unused and underutilised infrastructure components and areas, recommend actions to reclaim, right size and consolidate infrastructure, and drive initiativesWhat we need todayWed love our IT Capacity Manager to have these skills and experience:

• Ability to understand the end-to-end IT System infrastructure landscape including on-prem data centres, cloud, and SaaS based solutions and application platforms
• Ability to collaborate with IT Platform Owners, Business Stakeholders, support managers, partners and vendors to collect appropriate requirements for capacity planning & management
• Ability to manage multiple vendor resources and teams as per the banks IT contracts with the vendors
• Ability to bring in the TCO flavour for infrastructure capacity based on the usage levels, explain capacity change impacts in cost terms and drive conversations in business understandable terminology
• Provide ownership of end-to-end capacity monitoring processes, contribute to monitoring strategy, defining metrics, monitoring thresholds, KPIs and remediation actions for capacity usage breaches etc.
• Experience in analysing capacity incidents, identifying proper root cause for capacity issues and in arranging mitigation actions to reduce or avoid capacity incidents
• Knowledge of service now modules for CMDB, change management, incident management, problem management and reporting for usage of Service Now in day-to-day Capacity Management tasks
• Previous experience training and mentoring IT staff on Capacity processes and process improvements
• Minimum 5 years relevant work experience in capacity management, or in infrastructure architecture, monitoring, support or service management
• Prior experience in providing infrastructure architecture assistance to application platforms and business teams across in an enterprise-wide environment catering to different business units and varied technology solutions will be an added advantage

• Adapt to the very fast changing infrastructure landscape between on-prem, cloud based and a hybrid environment of multiple cloud providers and SaaS solutions
• Lead efforts to identify, define, and analyse requirements to meet the expectations of stakeholders, schedule timelines, and budgetary targets
• Provide escalated level of troubleshooting and complex problem solving related to capacity management, monitoring and incident management processes to stakeholders
• Bring in the service and business focus to capacity management as a value add to the on-going capacity management processes and policies, and encompass end to end service health in the capacity management processes
• Work with the vendors and product teams for the future roadmap on capacity management, monitoring, incident management, problem and change management streams applicable to capacity
• Effective use of metrics and data to identify and opportunities for improvements and value adds
• Oversee various infrastructure platforms health overall, identify risks and issues well in advance, raise them to the TSB management for attention and risk mitigation actions
• Think strategically and evaluate options in the short, medium and long term
• Balance conflicting and changing demands through prioritisation and a pragmatic approach
• Demonstrate business leadership skills and the ability to communicate a clear vision to others
