Im looking for an iOS/Swift Developer to join a very exciting tech start-up based in Edinburgh.As an iOS/Swift Developer, youll be responsible for the development and maintenance of applications for mobile and tablet. Your primary focus will be the design and development of such applications as well as integration with back-end services. You will be working alongside other engineers and developers working on different layers of the infrastructure. Therefore, a commitment to collaborative problem solving, sophisticated design and creating quality products is essential.Responsibilities- Design and build applications for iOS platform- Ensure the performance, quality and responsiveness of applications- Collaborate with a team to define, design and build new features- Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs- Help maintain code quality, organisationand automationSkills- Proficient in Swift, with a good knowledge of its ecosystems- Solid understanding of object-oriented programming- Experience with Cocoa APIs on OS X- Good knowledge of performance limits and characteristics- Knowledge of memory management and multi-threading- Experience with embedded databases and other system data stores- Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect to back-end services- Good sense of UI design and a user-oriented focusThe salary for this position is £45-55,000 depending on experience and comes with a really good benefits package including share options.
