Job Description

Morgan Hunts exclusive public sector client is currently looking for an Identity Access Management Specialist to join their Infrastructure team.As part of a team of Systems Specialists, the successful candidate will take responsibility for the effective operation and development of the Identity Management system. Through efficient integration with a variety of systems from physical access control to account provisioning this role will permit timely access to support the changing needs of the organisation.Duties include;

  • Design, develop, deploy and maintain identity and access management services and applications, including local and federated authentication and authorisation systems, their backend directories, databases and the provisioning of these.
  • Design, develop, deploy and maintain varied directory services, extending where necessary the schemas to support the Universitys business requirements and writing/supporting web and scripted interfaces which manipulate the data stored therein.
  • Implement specialist processes, resolving escalated queries/issues within area of expertise, seeking guidance from senior colleagues or Team Leader where necessary.
    • Essential criteria;
  • Experience of developing & maintaining of Identity Management Systems (preferably NetIQ)
  • 3 years experience with IAM and security
  • Administration of Linux/Unix based systems
  • Good understanding of the current cyber security
  • Demonstrable knowledge of Information Security procedures and technologies, including experience with key IAM methodologies and technologies SSO, ACL, PAM and RBAC.
