Page Group have partnered with The Scottish Courts and Tribunals Service for the recruitment of a permanent HR Strategic Partner: Reward and Recognition.Client DetailsThe Scottish Courts and Tribunals Service is a non-ministerial department established by the Judiciary and Courts (Scotland) Act 2008. Our statutory function is to provide administrative support to the Scottish Courts, devolved Tribunals and the Office ofthe Public Guardian (OPG). With over 1900 staff in Courts, Tribunals and business units based in some 50 locations across Scotland, we have an annual expenditure in excess of £150m.DescriptionWorking alongside a team of HR strategic partners, you will report to the Senior HR Manager: HR Operations and lead and manage the reward and recognition function within the HR Unit.You will be responsible for overseeing the redesign, delivery and communication of a number of outputs from the Reward Review to ensure the total reward package is accessible and easy to understand and enhances the SCTS employee value proposition.As a confident and experienced subject matter expert in the field of reward and recognition, you will also lead and manage the ongoing review, design, development and delivery (as applicable) of other key elements in the reward portfolio including work onpay coherence internally and within the wider Scottish Administration and the SCTS pay and grading structure against a background of changing operating and employability practices in the context of the ongoing Covid pandemic.You will support the delivery of the People Strategy 2018-2023 supporting the HR Senior Management team.You will also play a key role in the development and delivery of the annual HR Business Plan to increase employee satisfaction and ensure engagement remains resilient and strategically focused.You will establish constructive relationships with colleagues and stakeholders at all levels, including our recognised trade union, providing comprehensive support and guidance to them. You will contribute to Pay Award discussions/ negotiations and scopethe outcomes of the 2022-23 Pay Award discussions, working in partnership with key stakeholders to ensure they are in line with the overall grading review. You will support the Payroll team in the preparation, planning and implementation of the annual PayAward.ProfileTraining & Qualification- Chartered Member of CIPD or evidence of professional development that maintains your technical expertiseSkills-Excellent planning, organisational and time management skillsHighly numerical, analytical, focused and innovative with a problem solving mind-setPossesses a range of excellent verbal and written communication skills including negotiation, facilitation, presentation, report-writing and data-interpretationSkilled in working at pace and managing competing work priorities, with the ability to work accurately and flexiblyKnowledge-Knowledge of developing, analysing and delivering key performance indicators and people metrics that add value to operational and strategic decision makingComprehensive knowledge and understanding of reward, benefits, performance, motivation and engagementKnowledge and understanding of governance and compliance processes related to policies, service delivery, systemsExperience-Experience in successfully planning, implementing and reviewing reward practices and procedures to streamline processes and ensure quality of service delivery is maintained to usersExperience of managing day-to-day reward work including research, analysis, and administration of the reward policies and processesExperience of working in partnership with the ability to positively influence colleagues and stakeholders at all levels, developing and maintaining strong, credible working relationshipsJob Offer
