Job Description

The Head of HR will work closely with the Senior VP and will work closely with key senior stakeholders within the organisation. The HR Manager will be responsible for growing and developing the HR offering. This is both an operational and strategic rolewhich will require a knowledgeable hands-on HR professional to drive and develop the people agenda. HR Manager Responsibilities:

  • Deliver a smooth, professional, and collaborative HR service to the organisation in line with employment law
  • Provide support & guidance to managers on employee relations cases
  • Partner with the business to offer solutions and drive improvements on all areas of business performance
  • Work with senior managers and leadership teams to establish recruitment needs
  • Support managers with the recruitment selection to offer process
  • Manage the on-boarding process for new starters
  • Work with managers to deliver effective performance reviews
  • Carry out HR projects for improvements. Promote and champion continuous development and improvements.
  • Oversee the payroll process for UK and Czech entities
HR Manager Skills
  • CIPD Level 7 or equivalent
  • HR generalist background working at a senior level
  • Previous experience of working in a rapidly growing organisation or a start up
  • Highly adaptable and agile in approach
  • Excellent Business Partner and proven collaborator with all levels of professionals
  • Knowledgeable in UK employment law
The role is a hybrid position, 2 days in the central Edinburgh offices and 3 days working from home. There will also be a small and very ad-hoc element of travel to this opportunity.
