Job Description

Our client, a public sector body, require a HR Information Systems Manager on an interim basis for 6 months.This role attracts a day rate between £300- £500 (inside IR35) umbrellaMain PurposeChange Champion for our HRIS systems to deliver streamlined operations and a positive employee experienceMain Duties

  • Full ownership to review, improve, and bring to life a new but underutilised HRIS system.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand current needs and future ambitions and translate these into forward looking strategies and priorities
  • Work closely with colleagues across the People & OD team to align our HRIS systems as an enabler of the People Team Change Programme
  • Strategic development of ITrent and ILearn to get to a BAU point across the organisation with all users maximising the full functionality of the systems
  • Educate the business and colleagues across the People & OD team on best practice HRIS and how to use the systems
  • Provide guidance on escalated matters and resolve more complex tissues. Upskill existing team to deal with these cases going forward.
  • Manage vendors and partners to make sure we are receiving the most value from the partnership and ensuring it fits our needs
  • Support ad hoc data uploads, implement change requests and develop regular and targeted management reporting to all stakeholders
Essential
  • Demonstrated experience of developing and managing ITrent and ILearn with a customer first mind-set
  • Working and broad knowledge of HR processes, concepts and practices
  • Ability to deliver today whilst building future interventions as part of a joined up approach to the People Team Change Programme
  • Ability to manage multiple and demanding stakeholders and gain commitment to courses of action, reconciling different views, needs and interests
  • Ability to work through complexity and ambiguity to ensure approach and recommendations supports broader organisational needs and is aligned with other work streams of the People Team Change Programme
  • Excellent analytical skills, including an ability to explain systems and solutions in simple terms to stakeholders across the business
  • Ability to manage multiple, high priority tasks and adjust to shifting priorities, while meeting deadlines
  • CIPD qualified
