Job Description

HR AssistantRemote Role with future return to Edinburgh OfficeFTC until end of May 2022£20604 - £22553Full Time 37 hrs MonFri 8:30-5pm (4:30pm on Fridays)I am delighted to be working with one of our core public sector clients on an exciting HR Assistant Role. This is a great entry level position with the opportunity to get involved in a variety of HR Areas and be given full training.Duties include:

  • Processing information on the HR/Payroll systems e.g. starters, leavers, contract amendments, timesheets and overtime
  • Responding to payslip queries and producing payroll reports
  • Managing the HR general enquiries mailbox, responding to requests in line with agreed processes
  • Assisting with Pension activities, administration and data cleanse projects as requested
  • Supporting the implementation of a new Human Resources Information System and Payroll System
  • Coordinating and minute taking at ER meetings
To be considered for these roles, candidates must have the following:
  • Previous experience working in an office environment in an administrative role
  • Experience of data entry to a high level of accuracy (using MS Excel)
  • Strong organisational skills including effective prioritising of work with previous experience of working to deadlines
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
