Job Description

Our friendly team at Meallmore are looking for a BankHousekeeping Assistantto be part of the team inForthland Lodge Care Homein Edinburgh. Conveniently located close the city centre of Edinburgh, Forthland Lodge offersresidents safe, comfortable surroundings in a purpose-built nursing home.Your role as a Meallmore Housekeeping Assistant will include:

  • Cleaning the bedrooms and bathrooms for the elderly residents of our 47-bed care home also communal areas
  • Vacuum rooms and corridors
  • Dispose of waste accordingly
  • Change and replenish towels and guest amenities in line with company guidelines
  • Restock and maintain trolley on daily basis completion of cleaning schedules
Qualifications and skills:
  • Positive attitude
  • A driven individual that can use their own initiative
  • Good communication skills both written and verbal
  • Ability to work on your own or in teams
  • Flexible and reliable
  • Experience working within Care Homes, Hospitality, Schools or Commercial (Desirable but not essential)
