Job Description

Job Title - HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic / HGV FitterSalary - £32,951 - £37,000 Per AnnumLocation - EdinburghOur client is an independently managed and long-established Scottish coach operator. Their busy workshop in Edinburgh requires an experienced HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic / HGV Fitter to join their team.HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic / HGV Fitter job role:

  • Undertaking Vehicle maintenance, servicing and running repairs on a varied fleet (including M.O.T preparation) * Prompt Repair of all defective vehicles to the highest standard * Ensure vehicles are maintained in accordance with the Company Operators Licence guidelines * Ensure all repairs to company vehicles are carried out in a timely manner * Have an ability to work to the highest Health & Safety standards * Prep & Presentation for VOSA tests * Preventative Maintenance * Fault Diagnostics * All associated paperwork, reports and admin
Requirements for HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic / HGV Fitter:
  • Be time served and experienced in Heavy Vehicle Mechanics
  • PCV licence preferred but not necessary
  • Have proven Diagnostic skills and Electrical experience
  • Be confident working on your own however; you should also be adaptable to change and, work well within a team
