Meraki Talent are supporting a highly ambitious and entrepreneurial group with the appointment of a permanent Group Sales Manager based in the central belt of Scotland paying a highly competitive base salary with an extremely lucrative bonus scheme.The CompanyThis highly ambitious and entrepreneurial group have an exceptional thirst for further expansion which will be achieved through organic growth, geographic expansion, diversification and acquisitions. It has several divisions/trading entities with many beingconsidered the market leader within their sector. The others are at the infancy stage of trading but possess the right foundations, backing and management to achieve the same status & accoladesThe Role The position of Group Sales Manager is a newly created role that will play a pivotal part in the group achieving its short, medium and long-term objectives. The sales function has produced excellent divisional results over recent years due to its talentedprofessionals however it now requires an individual capable of designing and executing a consolidated sales strategy for the group.The role balance would be around 80% people management and strategy with only 20% hands-on and direct sales activities.Its paramount that the successful individual has the desire and potential to progress to a Group Sales Director role and the executive leadership team within the near future.Candidate ProfileIts essential the successful individual has a proven track record in a Sales Manager capacity, ideally with a background in one of the following sectors - waste management, water, energy, utilities or facilities management.On OfferThe role of Group Sales Manager can be based anywhere within the central belt of Scotland however its important the individual is willing to attend the head office based in Edinburgh at least one day per week. The role will offer:
