Job Description

Graduate Geotechnical EngineerLocation: EdinburghReference: BY1323Salary: £23,000 - £26,000No experience required - entry level position!Are you a recent university graduate Looking for your first position in the engineering geology industry This is an exciting opportunity for a recent geology, geotechnical engineering or geography graduate to find their first position in a hands on role.With a specialist team and a huge variety of ground investigation projects to work on, this is the perfect role to apply your educational knowledge to.The Graduate Geotechnical Engineer selected will be offered:

The Graduate Geotechnical Engineer selected will:
  • Be working on a variety of ground investigation projects both on site and in the office.
  • Receiving expert training on al processes, shadowing and applying university knowledge.
  • Overseeing ground investigations.
  • Borehole logging and coring.
  • Factual and interpretive report writing.
  • Complying with health and safety practices.
  • Liaising with team members.
To be considered for this Graduate Geotechnical Engineer position you should:
  • Have a degree in a relevant subject, for example geology, geotechnical engineering, geography or civil engineering.
  • Have an in engineering geology and working in a hands on role.
  • You must live commutable to Edinburgh.
  • Hold a full UK driving licence (travelling to site will be essential).
  • Have a full right to work in the UK.
