Renaissance Care (Scotland) Ltd are seeking an enthusiastic, dedicated individual to join the team in our Central Support Office based in Musselburgh. Theposition available in our team is on a full-time basis, working Monday to Friday.Covering all aspects of Finance including payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable cashbook postings and financial reconciliations. There is huge scope for growth in this role and is a great opportunity for an individual to gain valuable experiencewithin a hands-on role to start their career in finance. The successful candidate will be encouraged and supported in pursuing further applicable training such as accountancy qualifications.Working as part of a finance team you will be involved in taking the lead across the payroll process including processing new starters and leavers, processing and analysing weekly hours, ensuring records are kept up to date, processing payroll and dealingwith payroll queries. You will update our cashbook through our accounting system, process ledger invoices and pay suppliers through our accounting system. You will be responsible for allocating cash received to appropriate accounts and follow up on accountsreceivable queries. you will be able to work as part of a team to cover other team members duties during holidays and sickness.The necessary skills required for this role are a strong academic background demonstrated by a minimum qualification in finance or a business related degree with finance. You must have a practical and problem solving approach whilst being inquisitive andambitious. You will have MS Office Skills at intermediate to advanced level.You will have a friendly, confident manner and strong work ethic with the ability to work well under pressure. You will have an ability to manage your own workload and be willing to learn and use new technology. As the successful candidate will require trainingon the various aspects of the role, an organised approach to learning is essential such as ability to grasp finance concepts, question things they may not understand initially and structured/organised note taking.
