The companyOur client is a market leading manufacturer and distributor of high-quality wiring and electrical accessories. With a reputation for quality, reliability and value for money, this business is well established as a leading supplier to the UK electrical wholesalemarket and has a strong presence in the Middle East, Africa and the Caribbean.Through its continuous investment in innovation and product design, our client continues to bring products to market that meet the ever-changing needs of its wholesale customers and electrical contractors, and in doing so has established itself as the numberone specification of choice in the new build developer market. Their range includes circuit protection, alarms, lighting, ventilation, hand dryers, indoor & outdoor power, cabling and & EV charging. The role As an Area Sales Manager your role will be predominantly field based covering the whole of Scotland. Most of your time will be spent along the Central Belt and this is where they would like a candidate to be situated around Glasgow/ Edinburgh. In your firstfew months you will spend some time in their head office in Luton where you will learn all aspects of the business.This is an account management position, and you will be representing their full range of products across your portfolio of circa 200 customers. This role is about maintaining and growing the spend of your accounts. Once you are settled in, your working weekwill be typically 4 days out on the road meeting customers and 1 day at home doing admin.This client is passionate about your development and will put the successful candidates through a sales apprenticeship. The Level 4 Sales Executive Standard is a 14-month programme earning you a qualification in sales.Package:
