Our mission therefore is to access the abundant geothermal energy of the earths subsurface to provide zero-carbon, 24 hour renewableheating and cooling to industrial, commercial and domestic energy users. We are passionate about minimising the energy industrys negative impact on the environment and are looking to appoint an equally ardent Energy Engineer to join us on our mission.Our services are sought after across a wide range of systems: mine water heat pumps, open and closed loop ground-source heat pumps, and deep geothermal systems - including some world-first Net-Zero heating projects. We support clients from the early optionsappraisal stage, through feasibility study, project definition, development, construction supervision, commissioning, and into the operations phase. This role will therefore be evaluating and developing such geothermal and renewable heating and cooling projectsacross the UK and internationally, always ensuring the outputs are sufficient to meet the project scope.Responsible for the engineering and other technical aspects of thermal energy use from geothermal resources, including both subsurface and surface engineering aspects. You will be required to have a strong understanding of the three main engineering areasof harnessing low-carbon thermal energy - (1) heat resource engineering, (2) plant room engineering and (3) heat delivery engineering.Duties & Responsibilities
