The role is based in Edinburgh and is offering a salary of £45,000 - £50,000 per annum + bonus + additional benefits.The CompanyThe business is a highly sought-after employer, that takes pride in hiring the best the market has to offer. They attract these individuals via competitive remuneration packages, staff empowerment, flexibility, and the opportunity to grow and progress.The RoleThe role of Fund Accountant - Private Equity & VC will report into the Fund Accounting Director. The successful individual will be a point of contact for various private equity and venture capital fund clients. You will be charged with the monthly and quarterlyfinancial reporting for these funds, as well having the opportunity to liaise with fund mangers in relation to capital calls and drawdowns (actioning if/when required). Role specification: * Preparation of quarterly financial statements for a portfolio of clients including forecasting and commentary - ensuring these are accurate and timely* Preparing fund drawdown, equalisation and distribution calculations* Liaising with clients on various accounting related matters including - investor capital, entity drawdowns, tax returns and annual accounts* Preparation of statutory accounts for a portfolio of clients* Liaising with auditors and tax advisers* Preparation of VAT returns and other compliance requirements* Accurately record of all information and client interactions in order to track progress and ensure best practice is adhered to at all timesIf you are successful in this role, the business are committed to harvesting ambition for career develop.
