Job Description

Full Stack Developer - (Ruby on Rails, MVC, SQL, JavaScript, jQuery, Linux) - Fully Remote£40K - £55K plus benefits (Remote Work, Staff Bonus Scheme, Health Cash Plan, Perkbox Subscription, Pension, 25+ days holiday)Three reasons why this is the role for you

  • SQL - MySQL or equivalent database server.
  • HTML / CSS / JavaScript (jQuery) - Good core web skills.
  • Back End Framework Driven Development - Previous experience developing project within MVC frameworks using a modern back end language such as Ruby / PHP is required.
It would be beneficial if you had experience in:
  • Ruby on Rails - Knowledge would be highly beneficial, but they will train you up if you have experience with other back end languages such as PHP. In this case, experience working with frameworks such as Laravel would be desirable.
  • REST / OAuth - Knowledge or experience of integrating with 3rd party web services and relevant protocols and formats.
  • GitHub (or similar) - Experience working with modern version control systems.
  • Linux - Familiarity and experience with the Linux operating system is beneficial, but not required.
  • Financial Systems - Experience in dealing with financial systems and accounting practices would be highly advantageous.
